FIGURE AND GROUND
Figure ground organization is a type of perceptual grouping which is a vital necessity for recognizing objects through vision. The negative space of the canvas is just as important as the positive elements that we place on the canvas.
DOODLE ART
Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be composed of random and abstract lines, generally without ever lifting the drawing device from the paper, in which case it is usually called a "scribble".A doodle is an unfocused drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied.
MIXED MEDIA ART
In visual art, mixed media is an artwork in which more than one medium or material has been employed. Assemblages and collages are two common examples of art using different media that will make use of different materials including cloth, paper, and/or wood.
